Objective To study predicting value of the risk of cardiac death in Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) patients in hospitalization by the GRACE score system evaluation. Methods A Retrospective analysis of patients with an acute coronary syndrome in Guang xi medical university first affiliated hospital from January 2009 to December 2010 were involved in which included 60 cases of cardiac death and 100 patients without cardiac death served as control group. Two groups of patients were scored according to The GRACE system. The risk of cardiac death indicated by the sensitivity and specificity by ROC curves under corresponding scorings. Results:1. mean GRACE scorings of patients of SCD was 179.00±39.74 while the control group was 128.93+30.88 with statistically significance (P<0.05).2.For ACS patients,158 of GRACE score possess the sensitivity of 0.85 with the specificity of 0.75.Conclusion GRACE risk score system can predicts risk of SCD in with ACS patients; 158 of GRACE risk score for ACS patients predicts cardiac death with high sensitivity and specificity...
