Clinical And Experimental Research On Treating Chronic Renal Failure Using Methods Of Invigorating Spleen And Kidney, Purging Turbid And Removing Blood Stasis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of treating chronic renal failure using the methods of invigorating spleen and kidney, purging turbid and its protective effect on renal function and structure of 5/6 nephrectomy rats. To discuss its mechanism of function.Methods:1.100 patients with CRF were divided randomly into two groups with the ratio of 1:1, the experimental group and the control group. Patients in the experimental group (50 cases) were administered with Qudu granules (dispel toxic) (5g per time, three times a day), while those in the control group(50 cases) treated with Niao Duqing granules (5g per time, three times a day). The changes of hemoglobin, urinary protein per 24hrs, renal function, changes of scores of symptoms of syndromes of deficiency of spleen and kidney, turbid and blood stasis were observed in two groups. The differences between two groups were compared.2.60 male Wistar rats were divided randomly into five groups:the sham operation group, the model group, high dosage Qudu granules group (high dosage group), the low-dosage Qudu granules group (low dosage group) and Niao Duqing group (control group).12 rats were in each group. Except the sham-operated group,each group was excised 5/6 nephridial tissue to establish animal model of CRF, and was administered appropriate concentration and dose drugs. Urinary protein per 24hrs, renal function and pathological changes of the kidney were observed. Results:1. After three months treatment, the creatinine, urea nitrogen of the patients were improved and scores of symptoms decrease obviously in the experimental group.2. Qudu granules could significantly reduce urinary protein per 24hrs, improve renal function, down-regulate the expression of Col-â…£,FN in the renal tissue, regulate the expression of the MMP-2,TIMP-2 in the kidney and improve the glomerular sclerosis. Conclusion:1. Qudu granules has a good therapeutic effect for the treatment of CRF, which has the function of improving the clinical symptoms, improving renal function, reducing proteinuria and correcting anemia.2. Qudu granules has the function of protecting the renal function of glomerular sclerosis, reducing urinary protein per 24hrs, the renal pathological damage. Its mechanism may be related with down-regulating the expression of Col-â…£,FN in the kidney, regulating the expression of the MMP-2,TIMP-2 in the kidney to delay the process of failure of renal function.
