Effect Of Renewed Xuefu Zhuyu Soft Capsule On Myocardial Angiogenesis Of Rats With Myocardial Ischemia

Objective To study the effect of Renewed Xuefu Zhuyu Soft Capsule on myocardial angiogenesis of rats with myocardial ischemia.Methods Fifty wistar rats (mean weight 223±12g) were divided into five groups randomly:the blank group(A group),the model group(B group),, the low dosages of traditional Chinese medicine group (C group)and the high dosages of traditional Chinese medicine group(D group) the group intervened by BeiFuJi(E group). There were 10 rats in each group。The modle of rats with myocardial ischemia was made by ligaturing coronary artery(espect the A group). The rat was given drugs through intragastric administration according to the weight regulation in the morning for 4 weeks. Each rat in A group and B group was given normal saline 4ml/d; in E group were given no drugs; in C group was given drug with decoction (6.5g/kg) and normal saline 4ml/d; in D group was given drug with decoction (13g/kg) and normal saline 4ml/d. After 4 weeks, the area of myocardial infarction the density of new capillary,the vascular endothelial cell number,the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and the basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) were mearsured with the immunohistochemical medthod.Result Compared with B group (model group), D group (P<0.001) and E group (P<0.005) were lower in the area of myocardial infarction, and were both higher (P<0.01) in CD and EC;there were significant differences in C group and Dgroup in all the indexs(except the area of myocardial infarction); there were no significant differences in D group and Egroup in all the indexs. Conclusion Renewed Xuefu Zhuyu Soft Capsule can promot the myocardial ischemia angiogenesis by making CD, EC,VEGF, Bfgf higher.
