The Empirical Research Of The Relationship Between Market Orientation And Antecedents In Private Hospital Industry

In this paper, We have reviewed the previous literature on the definition of market orientation, market orientation and hospital performance relationship, market orientation scale, the factors that influence the market orientation, and according to that we proposed four hypothesis about the relationships between private hospital market orientation and market-oriented antecedents. The study focused on Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou private hospitals, and we did survey of private hospitals from these three cities on market-oriented issues. We used descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis and processing of the data. The results confirmed that the level of market orientation in private hospital had a positive correlation with senior management emphasis on market-oriented and negative correlation with their risk-averse attitude, and had a positive correlation with inter-connectivity in the private hospital. At the end of the study, the findings are discussed, and some enlightenment had to be reviewed, and pointed out the study's limitations and future research directions.
