Objective:Observation and comparison of children supracondylar gartland III type II b type fracture closed manipulative reduction and splint steel prop open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation and internal fixation efficacy of two methods to find the best treatmentMethods:Collected from March 2008 to November 2009 among the children admitted to the apparent shift-type supracondylar fractures were 74 cases of Non-randomized concurrent control groups were divided into A:manipulative reduction and external fixation group and B group:Open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation. After the Baumann angle fractures, fracture healing time, follow up elbow function, complications and the incidence of two methods to compare their cost of treatment..Results:For the reduction of supracondylar fracture of humerus in children after the Baumann angle, B group of measurements is greater than A group (P<0.05), fracture healing time, follow-up function of the elbow, general good rate, their cost group A than group B (P<0.05); the complication rate, A group and B groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:The children obviously displaced supracondylar fractures, closed manipulative reduction and splint steel prop open reduction and external fixation with Kirschner wire fixation for both methods has achieved satisfactory results. Different types of fracture efficacy of two methods slightly different, the overall treatment of closed reduction and good rate was higher. Closed reduction and fracture healing, restoration of elbow function better and cost-effective, easy-to-be children and parents to accept, is a significant shift in the treatment of children with supracondylar fracture of simple, convenient, efficient, inexpensive manner, that such fractures should first try the method. |
