Mechanism Of Effect Of Fu Yuan Huo Xue Decoction On The Expression Of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor During Early Fracture Healing

AIM:To explore the effects of fu yuan huo xue decoction on the expression of local vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF) during early fracture healing.Methods:The animal models of opened fracture with intramedullary fixation were established in sixty male SD rats. The 70 rats were divided into herb group (fu yuan huo xue decoction) and saline group. The tissues in fracture area were obtained at 3,5,7,14 and 21days.Semi-quantitative analysis was used to detect the expression of VEGF through RT-PCR method.Results:It increased significantly in VEGF at 3 days. The expression of VEGF was weaker in experimental group compared with the saline group at 3 days,which was stronger in the herb group compared with the saline group at 5,7,14 and 21.The expression of VEGF reached to the peak at 5 and 7 days.Conclusion:Fu yuan huo xue decoction in early fracture can accelerate the expression of VEGF.
