| Objective:To detect the VEGF-C expression in the serum and tissue of cervical diseases, to study the relationships of VEGF-C and clino-pathological characteristics of cervical carcinoma. To explore correlation of tissue and serum expression and the clinical significance of VEGF-C in the cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical squamous-celled carcinoma of Uighur momen in xinjiang. Method:1.The VEGF-Cexpressions in tissue were tested by immunohistochemisty from the 22 chronic cervicitis,24 CIN, and 43 squamous-celled carcinoma patients, and comparatively analyse the clino-pathological characteristics of cervical carcinoma.2.The VEGF-C expressions in the serum were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from the 15 chronic cervicitis,23 CIN, and 40 squamous-celled carcinoma patients, and comparatively analyse the clino-pathological characteristics of cervical carcinoma. Result:1.The expression of VEGF-C in the tissue of cervicitis, CIN and cervical carcinoma were separately 9.1%,87.50%, 100%, the differences had significance (P<0.05).Among them, there were significant differences between groups of cervicitis and CIN, as well as cervicitis and cervical carcinoma, but no significant differences between CIN and cervical carcinoma (P>0.05). In the cervical carcinoma group, the tissue expressions of VEGF-C were correlated to the different clinical stages, tumor size(≤4cm and>4cm), lymph node metastasis conditions that were showed in CT, but were not correlated to the tissue differentiation. Among the 24 operated carcinoma patients, the differences of VEGF-C expressions in different conditions of lymph node metastasis and muscles invasion had no statistical meanings.2. The VEGF-C contents were gradually increased from cervicitis to CIN and cervical carcinoma. Among them the VEGF-C contents were significantly higher in the CIN group than cervicitis, and also significantly higher in cervical carcinoma group than CIN group, the differences had statistical significance (P<0.05). but the differences between CIN and cervical carcinoma had no statistical significance (P>0.05). In the cervical carcinoma group, the serum expressions of VEGF-C were correlated to the different clinical stages, tumor size, lymph node metastasis conditions that were showed in CT, but were not correlated to the tissue differentiation. Among the 24 operated carcinoma patients, the differences of VEGF-C expressions in different conditions of lymph node metastasis had statistical meanings, but had no statistical meanings in different conditions of muscles invasion.3.The compartment of results of VEGF-C in serum and tissue showed that, there were correlation between to of them, the more tissue expressions, the more serum expressions will be. (r=0.27, F=5.327, P=0.024). Conclusion:VEGF-C has played an facilitation rule in the transition process of CIN to cervical squamous cell carcinoma of the uygure women in xinjiang, the VEGF-C levels in the tissue and serum of cervical squamous cell carcinoma has positive correlated to its clinical stages, tumor size, and conditions of lymph node metastasis, and has not correlated to its histological differentiation and muscular infiltration, there are correlation of VEGF-C expression between tissue and serum, the VEGF-C detection is conduced to the diagnosis and prognostic factor judgment of cervical carcinoma. |
