The purpose of this article is to construct the mix rat model of fatty liver, to explore the preventive and therapeutic effect of sulfated chitosan derivatives on rat fatty liver. Based on the experiment, establish the model by feeding the rat on liquor fat emulsion, which last five weeks.The therapeutic effect of sulfated chitosan derivatives on experimental rat:Male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal control group and model group. The model group was fed on Liquor fat emulsion quantitatively in order to establish the mix rat model of fatty liver. After five week, the model has been confirmed successfully. Then the model group rats were randomly grouped into four-low dose group, middle dose group and high dose group of sulfated chitosan derivatives and model control group. Each group were given normal feeds, sulfated chitosan derivatives treatment groups were administered by intraperitoneal injection-small dose group administration with 25mg·kg-1·d-1, middle dose group with 50mg·kg-1·d-1, high-dose group with 100mg·kg-1·d-1,the other groups with an equal volume of physiological saline. Treated for 3 weeks, all animals were sacrificed for observing the pathological changes of rat liver, mensurating the content of TC, HDL, LDL, AST, ALT in serum and TG, AST, ALT, SOD in liver. The results indicated that, compared to the model recovery group, sulfated chitosan derivatives treatment groups not only have outstanding improvements in organizational form, also can significantly reduce the level of TC,HDL, LDL, AST, ALT in serum and TG, AST,ALT in liver and increase SOD content in liver. The content of TC,HDL,LDL, AST, ALT in serum and TG,AST, ALT, SOD in liver of sulfated chitosan derivatives treatment group were restored to the level of control group.Therefore, the sulfated chitosan derivatives have an excellent therapeutic effect on rat fatty liver.The preventive effect of sulfated chitosan derivatives on experimental rat:At the same time with constructing mix rat model successfully, treat the model group rat with sulfated chitosan derivatives to discuss their preventive effects. By comparing the liver index, appearance and histopathology of liver between preventive and model group rat, sulfated chitosan derivatives play a great positive role in protecting fatty liver of rats. Meanwhile, the effect of intraperitoneal injection is better than feeding.
