The research of this paper is based on the horizontal subject "the development of the client for mobile telemedicine support system". Blood pressure is an important Physiological parameter which could reflect the function of human body. Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring could reveal dynamic change law of blood pressure, and provide the basis for curing disease.Based on the research of domestic and abroad achievement, the key technologies of blood pressure measurement and information fusion are deeply investigated. By analyzing and comparing various measurements of blood pressure and discussing the inadequacies of continuous monitoring in recent monitoring method, the blood pressure monitoring system based on pulse transit time is designed. Under the controller of ARM microprocessor, ECG, pulse and temperature signals are extracted respectively by ECG electrodes, pulse sensor and thermistor. The value of blood pressure is calculated by the relationship of pulse transit time and blood pressure. Information fusion technology based on Synergetic Theory is proposed to reduce measurement errors caused by all kinds of factors involved in blood pressure. This technology can fuse several aspects of physiological information, figure out patient's blood pressure characteristics and body condition, make disease diagnosis more exactly.The whole system can be divided into three modules in structure:physiological parameter collection unit, data processing and transmission unit, data analysis and fusion unit. ECG, temperature, and pulse signals are extracted by ECG electrodes, thermistor and pulse sensor in physiological parameter collection unit.The physiological data that collected is calculated and displayed under the control of LPC2132 in data processing and transmission unit, data transmission is also finished in this unit through the Bluetooth transmitter module. Data analysis and fusion unit is achieved in the computer. In this unit, the physiological data that received from LPC2132 via Bluetooth module is analyzed and processed, and then the dynamic characteristics of blood pressure is distinguished by data fusion.In this paper an innovative method based on pulse transit time and synergetic data fusion technology is introduced for dynamic measurement of blood pressure, these researches provide a basis for subsequent development.
