| Renal osteodystrophy, a common complication of chronic renal failure, seriously affects the life quality of people who suffered.Parathyroid hormone(PTH)is a Important uremic toxin and its metabolic disturbance is one of leading factors to cause renal osteodystrophy, the down regulation of PTH receptor may be a mechnism that impairs renal function. In recent years, the relationship between renal osteodystrophy and PTH has been focused. However, there is still relatively lack of literatures on relationship between PTH Levels and TCM syndrome as well as PTH receptor gene expression. In our research,PTH receptor mRNA expression of peripheral blood leukocytewas detected by the current advanced Real time PCR techniques firstly, and the changings and Correlations of PTH and its receptor gene expression were observed and compared. simultaneously, the Correlation between TCM syndrome of Renal osteodystrophy and PTH levels was carried out.1 The Correlation study of PTH and its receptor gene expression with Renal osteodystrophy1.1 Objective and MethodsObjective:TO investigate PTH receptor mRNA expression in peripheral blood WBC of patients with renal osteodystrophy and its relationship with serum PTH levels.Methods:110 patients Of chronic renal failure with long-term hemodialysis was enrolled, and divided into two groups according to serum PTH levels:low PTH group (<150pg/ml),43 cases; high PTH group (>150pg/ml),67 patients(subdivided into three groups:PTH level between 150-300pg/ml,20 cases; PTH level between300-800pg/ml,38 cases; PTH level more than 800pg/ml,9 cases). The PTH receptor mRNA expression in peripheral blood WBC of patients with renal osteodystroph in different months was detected by Real-time PCR techniques and investigated, appropriate statistical methods was performed and analyzed. 1.2 Conclusion(1)PTH receptor mRNA expression of peripheral blood WBC in patients with Renal osteodystrophy was relatively low(2)As dialysis duration extending, blood PTH levers was elevated with decreasing of PTH receptor gene expression.(3)The PTH receptor mRNA expression in peripheral blood WBC decreased with increasing of serum PTH in patients with renal osteodystrophy of PTH level between 300-800pg/mL in one year.(4)There was a trend that serum PTH levels in patients with osteodystrophy was increasing with the declining of PTH receptor mRNA expression of peripheral blood WBC.2 The study of correlation between TCM syndromes of patients with Renal osteodystrophy and PTH levels2.1 Objective and MethodsObjective:To observe the relationship between TCM syndrome characteristics of patients with Renal osteodystrophy and serum PTH levelsMethods:110 patients of chronic renal failure with long-term hemodialysis was enrolled. Symptom questionnaire was maded and TCM syndrome of every patients was recorded and investigated, cluster analysis was employed to every variables.2.2 conclusion(1) Syndrome with yin and yang deficiency, Stagnation of Phlegm-stasis was most common in patients with renal osteodystrophy, which was coincidence with pathogenesis of deficiency in origin and excess in superficislity, intermingled deficiency and excess.(2) Age, primary disease, dialysis duration and other factors had impact on the distribution of TCM syndromes of renal osteodystrophy to a certain extent. With increaseing of age and Dialysis duration, the ratio of yin and yang deficiency. Stagnation of Phlegm-stasis were rising.(3) Serum PTH levels had some influence on the distribution of TCM syndromes of renal osteodystrophy to a certain degree. With the increasing of blood levels of PTH, the prevalence of yin and yang deficiency, Stagnation of Phlegm-stasis was higher. |
