Objective: The study investigated the change of immune guideline of body fluid of schizophrenic patients of different phases , immunoglobulin IgA, IgG, IgM and complement C3, C4 included. This is to indefinitize the relationship of every immune guideline with the phases of schizophrenia, so that an obvious evidence of the etiology study and the clinical effect evaluaton of schizophrenia could be given. It was supposed to promote the allround development of schizophrenia.Method: 18 inpatients with schizophrenia were involved in the study. All of the subjects completed the general condition questionnaire. PANSS of the acute phase and the remission phase was evaluated by two normal trained cilnicians respectively, and IgG, IgM, IgA, C3, C4 of the two phases were detected with ELISA. Utilizing t test to statistics the collected data in SPSS 10.0.Results: The serum concentration of IgG and C4 of schizophrenia in acute phase was higher than in remission phase, and the difference of C4 was sufficient statistically. Whereas the serum concentration of IgA, IgM and C3 of the acute phase was lower than that of the remission phase, and the difference was insufficient statistically. Conclusions: The serum concentration of every body fluid immune guideline changed with the illness phases in the patients with schizophrenia. There was relationship of illness state to the function of the immune system.
