This paper attempts to examine the disorder Gui Zhi (Cinnamomum cassia Presl) based on two medical treatment books "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and "The Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber." It will analyze research by both ancient and modern physicians and scholars to develop a better understanding of Gui Zhi. Specifically, this paper will examine methods to treat Gui Zhi with particular attention paid to efficacy, application compatibility, dosage and contraindications. Finally, this paper will suggest how to improve processing requests to make for better clinical applications.First, this study examines ancient literature on Gui Zhi (Cinnamomum cassia Presl) from the period of the generation after generation to identify similarities and differences among three types of Gui Zhi. It will analyze the character, taste, functions and indications of Gui Zhi when treated according to use, dosage, contraindications, processing, modern pharmacological research and posterity play.Second, the study will apply a prescription by ZhongJing on containing Gui Zhi. The formulas come from the medical treatment books "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and "The Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber."Finally, this paper will examine studies on ancient literature to gain an understanding of both the academic study of Gui Zhi and medical practice controversial issues. The following issues are examined:a scholarly understanding "peeled" Gui Zhi; the meaning of "immersion" deficiencies; a dialectical understanding of Gui Zhi; the relationship between efficacy and side effects such as sweating or antiperspirant Gui Zhi; the relationship between treatment and disease of "Gui Zhi moving blood"; and an explanation of Gui Zhi diuretic and tonic efficacy etc.ZhongJing widely examined Gui Zhi (Cinnamomum cassia Presl) in his medical treatment book "Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases." His prescription for Gui Zhi accounted for 76 more. His prescription for Gui Zhi accounted for 41 or 36.28 percent of his medical treatment book "Treatise on Febrile Diseases."; His prescription for Gui Zhi accounted for 35 or 17.03 percent of his medical treatment book " The Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber."; This paper sums up the medical treatment books "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and "The Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber" in the discussion of Gui Zhi. It will fully examine methods to treat Gui Zhi, the Gui Zhi of the name and reality, according to character, taste, functions and indications. It will pay particular attention to treatment use, dosage, contraindications, modern pharmacological research and demonstrations of future generation. Using ancient literature, this paper presents a preliminary discussion on about Gui Zhi of controversial issues. Issues discussed include the following scholarly research areas:an understanding of "peeled" Gui Zhi; the meaning of "immersion" deficiencies; and a dialectical understanding of the effectiveness and adverse response of relationship. Moreover, the paper addresses the perspiration or antiperspirant question concerning the relationship between treatment and disease with respect to "Gui Zhi moving blood," as well as an interpretation of Gui Zhi diuretic and tonic efficacy.Gui Zhi (Cinnamomum cassia Presl) is an exogenous diseases found in internal injuries and various diseases. This paper based its research on Gui Zhi using the medical treatment books "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" and "The Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber." role there and balance of Ying Wei, through Yang, It examined the conditions of numbness, circulation, irrigation and tonic related to the disorder by balancing the different major syndromes, which are listed in the table of hot and cold differences. But Xin (spicy) Wen (warm) Xuan Tong (through) of Gui Zhi characteristics are the basis of their role. Among the clinical evidence, a deep understanding of Gui Zhi Xin Wen Xuan Tong forms a basis of the role. By being mindful of the experience of ZhongJing use Gui Zhi of distillation, researchers may master the use of Gui Zhi ZhongJing compatibility rules for clinical use, better us Gui Zhi a great benefit to the efficacy of herb.
