ObjectivesThis study was designed to observe the Chinese medicine of diagnosis and treatment according to syndrome differentiation, and emotional treatment of the disease clinical efficacy and safety, and to find a effective, safe route with Chinese characteristics, a comprehensive treatment of this diseaseMethodsFirst, we analyzed the 40 disease cases from the years of June,2009 to March,2010 in which the diseased children were diagnosed as Tic disorders by the department of children's neuropsychical diseases in the NO.1 Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine University Of Guangzhou. Then the drew a comparison between the data collected from. We gave those children treatments based on syndrome differentiation, emotional treatment, and we conducted its clinical observations and safeties.and we also evaluated the tic severity of those children with YGTSS, before and after the treatments, as well as calculated decreasing scores of the clinical effect. In respect to the safety, we examined it though TESS extra pyramidal system, correlative biochemical indexes, then put all the research data into the computer and the results were processed using SPSS13.0.FindingThere were 40 patients,1 case was cured in the clinical,11 cases markedly effective, effective in 27 cases and one case was failed to respond. The total effective rate was 97.5%(P<0.01), no side effects associated with the medication using.Research result shows emotions in the healing process therapy plays an important role, For western effects or cannot bear children can choose the western side this therapy, Actively in scientific propaganda, and improve the technical staff, early diagnosis, treatment is very necessary.40 patients with blood and urine after treatment, liver, kidney without any abnormal change, Four cases were treated with mild abnormal metabolism of former lipids (total cholesterol in 3 cases, elevated triglycerides,2 cases), after treatment were normal, Adverse reaction was not found, suggesting this therapy safety.ConclusionThe clinical curative effect with using the Chinese medicine of diagnosis and treatment according to syndrome differentiation unite with emotional treatment to cure the tic disorder has a remarkable success and good safety.
