| ObjectivesTo obtain more information on herpes zoster patients, rich epidemiology of herpes zoster in Guangzhou, summed up the past experience of clinical practice, clinical medicine for the shingles to provide reference data path design.MethodsOutpatients and medical records information on the collection, and make comparisons between the month, the investigation in December 2008 to June 2009 during the Guangdong Provincial Hospital admissions for patients with herpes zoster of the main relevant circumstances. Acquisition targets include:①. General clinical data;②. Chinese Medicine of the type distribution;③. Treatment;④. Complication of the situation;⑤. Treatment evaluation;⑥. Age and Chinese Medicine of the type and therapeutic neuralgia relations;⑦. the cost of treatment.Result223 cases of patients, the minimum age of 6 years old, maximum age 90 years, mean age 52.11±16.43 years. Male 78, female 145, male and female ratio was 0.54:1. Little difference in incidence of left and right side. Liver the Heat Card 59.2%; spleen wet Yun-card accounts for 37.2%; qi stagnation cards accounted for 3.6%.220 patients with the treatment of integrative medicine, accounting for 98.7%. Rash scab time 9.44±3.91 days and the longest time was 21 days, scab, scab shortest time was 2 days, median 9 days. VAS score of the first visit 5.58±3.10 minutes. After a week of different ages on the visual analog pain score (Visual Analogue Score, VAS) score, in January after the VAS score, pain disappear with time difference was significant. Different age groups on the VAS score difference was statistically significant. After the different syndromes in January VAS score difference was statistically significant. Gender, onset of pain about the impact of no statistical significance.223 cases,49 patients of pain for more than 30 days, in which a patient to follow-up ended, still hurts.49 patients, average age was 62.37±13.53 days, the minimum age of 27 years, maximum age 84 years. Patient's age and the incidence of zoster was positively correlated. Sex had no effect on the occurrence of zoster, but the onset of pain affect the duration of pain. Onset of the most severe pain scores and whether there neuralgia (Postherpetic Neuralgia, PHN) affected by the two-sided test positive correlation; onset of the worst pain score when the time of loss and pain are related by the two-sided test. The total cost of outpatient maximum 2183.34 yuan,71.45 yuan minimum, mean of 502.18 yuan, a median of 407.58 yuan. Chinese Medicine of the type and incidence of different ages in the total cost, cost of Western medicine, Chinese medicine costs, treatment costs, the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion20-year-old and 50-year-old is the high incidence of herpes zoster age; female than male; disease about little difference; different age effects on pain significantly different; onset of pain occurred and whether the impact of zoster duration of pain; of Traditional Chinese treatment of herpes zoster is worth further study. Factors affecting outpatient treatment needs further study. |
