Treatment Of Intertrochanteric Fractures With DHS + Tsp And Artificial Femoral Head Replacement In Older Patients

ObjectiveTo explore the DHS+tsp and artificial femoral head replacement for the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures in elderly surgical treatment.MethodsCollection of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University Orthopedics in patients with intertrochanteric fractures, select DHS+tsp and selection of artificial femoral head replacement patients, retrospective analysis of patient's age, fracture type, preoperative combined medical disease, the patient operative time, intraoperative the amount of bleeding, intraoperative and postoperative blood transfusion, bed time after surgery, follow-up of 5 months-36 months, Harris score of the patients, compared with the selection of patients treated DHS.ResultsDHS+tsp treatment of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures in 10 cases, postoperative Harris score, mean 81.7; artificial femoral head replacement for elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures in 11 cases, postoperative mean Harris score of 84.2, better than the treatment group DHS.Conclusion1. Artificial femoral head replacement for treatment of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture operation time, blood transfusion volume, the number of hospital days compared with the DHS treatment had no statistical significance, However, bed hemiarthroplasty group was significantly shorter DHS group,the recent treatment is superior to DHS fixation, long-term effects require further follow-up.2. DHS+tsp treatment of unstable intertrochanteric fractures of femur in elderly patients with satisfactory result, postoperative hip joint function better than DHS group.
