| Objective To evaluate effect and complication of selective neurectomy and botulinum toxin A for gastrocnemius hypertrophy.Methods The Cochrane library (Issue 2,2009), MEDLINE (1966 to 2009.6) and CBM (1979 to 2009.8) were searched. The quality of included studies was assessed according to the criteria recommended Cochrane Collaboration. Meta-analyses were performed using RevMan 4.8.Results six studies were included.
