| Objective:To research the side effect of Zoladex on the treatment of breast cancer. Methods: The research includes 92 patients who previously accepted breast cancer operation and chemotherapy. 92 patients were divided into 2 groups randomly. Group A: 46 patients treated with Zoladex, subcutaneous injection, 3.6mg, every 28 days. Group B: 46 patients treated with tamoxifen, taken orally, 20mg, every day. Both are used for 2 years. Tomaxifen is a traditional drug to the endocrinotherapy of breast cancer. B group is seen as blank group to evaluate the effect of A group. The data are shown in the form of x±S, and processed with SPSS (statistical package for social science) statistical software. x2 test is performed to get the variation between the two groups. When P<0.05, the difference between two groups is significant. Results:the side effect of patients in group A and that of group B does not have significant difference in statistics(P〉0.05).Conclusion:Zoladex used in pre- and peri- menopausal breast cancer patients is better than tamoxifen on the effect of the treatment of breast cancer, but added side effect is not seen. |
