Objective To compare the effect of surgery with scleral buckling of nondrainage of subretinal fluid(SRF)and drainage of SRF for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD).Then to make a observation report of thetherapeutic effect of the two operation methods. Methods Article has made a retrospectives investigation about 86 selected patients from January 2005 to July 2009 in 1st affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical Uuniversity department of ophthalmology who diagnosed as RRD and proliferate vitreoretinopathy(PVR)less than stage C1,and underwent scleral buckling of nondrainage surgery and scleral buckling with drainage of SRF. Total were divided into two groups:SRF which had been drainage or nodrainage,The retinal reattachment rate and the factor between the reattachment situation and the PVR extent in both groups were analysed, also the complications, postoperative vision acuity were compared. Results The rate of retinal reattachment in the drainage group was 88.9% (40/45),and in the nondrainage that was92.7% (38/41). There was no statistical difference of retinal reattachment rate between these two groups while the the complications in group drainage was31.1%,in group nondrainge that was 12.2%. the complications in group nondrainage was significantly lower than in group drainage. Postopertive vision acuity increasing in group drainge was 62.2%%(28/45). in group nondrainge was 85.4% (35/41). The postopertive vision acuity increasing in group nondrainge was significantly higher than in group drainge. Conclusions The segmental buckling of nondrmnage of SRF has the same retinal reattachment effect as scleral buckling does, and it showed an obviously improvement of postopertive vision acuity and less complications. It is all important improvement of operation procedure. |
