Application Of Vacuum-sealing-drainage On Complecated Wound

Objective Observing the application on deep and complicated wounds, to find a effective and feasible simple measure to inprove the healing of burn and complicated wond surface.Methods From 2008 to 2010, a total of 64 cases (30males,7females) of using vacuum-sealing-drainage on burn or complicated wounds were collected.The age ranged from 8 to 76 years old,and the area of wound ranged from 6 to 800cm2,with 16 burnt,24 long term unhealed wounds(diabetes foot,decubital ulcer,etc),9 scar reparation,and 15other accidently trauma.Results After negative pressure treatment, in 5 cases of scar reparation,acellular dermal matrix and autograft of skin survived well after transplantation; other patients'wounds were obviously improved,and after skin grafting or tissue flap transferring,most of the patients were healed by first intention except one decubital ulcer patient whose wound was treated more than ten times.Conclusion Vacuum-sealing-drainage can completely remove the secretion and the fluid necrosis tissue in time,improving the local environment,helping to cultivate healthy granulation,and providing good foundation for sugery or the healing.Effective and easy to operate,it's a new ancillary way helping to promote the healing of wound.
