Background Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is the most common heart diseases in children. While atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect and patent ductus arteriosus as congenital heart disease in the three most common diseases, in the past only the surgery is the only treatment method, With the sustained development of the intervention instruments and technology, transcatheter closure of congenital heart disease by color Doppler flow imaging has become an advanced, effective micro innovation method, which has been widely spread and applicated both at home and abroad. CDFI can not only diagnosed with congenital heart disease, but also can be filtered cases accurately and effectively for transcatheter closure of congenital heart disease at the same time.CDFI plays an important guiding role in interventional therapy,it has the ability to show the occluder location clearly, to show whether the residual shunts after occlusion and make an contrast investigation about the cardiac morphous, function and hemodynamics before and after transcatheter closure, to play an important role after the operation or follow-up. It not only determined the success or failure of transcatheter closure, but also has an indispensable role in the prognosis monitoring. Objective To evaluate the changes of transcatheter closure and surgical procedures in the treatment of congenital heart disease on cardiac hemodynamics, morphous and function about by CDFI,and there are two ways to compare the clinical efficacy. This project aims to provide a non-invasive, accurate assessment of the new method for the clinical evaluation of transcatheter closure and surgical procedures of congenital heart disease. Methods Forty study subjects included 22 patients underwent transcatheter closure and 23 patients underwent surgical clouse. Color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) were performed in all patients before procedures and one week, one month, three months, six months after procedures. On the morphous, function and cardiac hemodynamics and other related parameters were measured and compared what were observed. Results The parameters measurements and indicators of patients with congenital heart block and surgical treatment before and after treatment,1 week,1 month,3 month,6 month are significantly different in comparison, and more significant differences in early. Two groups of the detection of cardiac hemodynamics, morphous and function have a significant improvement. Conclusions CDFI can evaluate very well the changes of transcatheter closure in the treatment of congenital heart disease on cardiac hemodynamics, morphous and function, and can provide reliable information for the case screening, the guidance of operation, clinical judgment. The efficiency is similar between the transcatheter closure and surgical clouse, but Intervention group of early heart function and cardiac hemodynamics is better than surgery in the treatment group.
