| Objective:To identify white blood cell count of 95%bilateral confidence interval of the patients after indwelling catheter≥the 7-days, changes of white blood cell counts of urinalysis and the diagnostic criteria of urinary tract infection of adult patients. And to provide laboratory evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment of adult urinary tract infection (urinary tract infection uTIc) by indwelling catheter urine culture and urine routine prospective study.Methods:183 cases from April 2009 to April 2010 were divided into male with indwelling catheter of non-infected and female with indwelling catheter of non-infected groups, the patients with indwelling catheter of non-infection and the patients with indwelling catheter of infection groups, Recording data were divided into two groups, the patients with indwelling catheter 3,>7days of non-infected groups. The result were analyzed. Results:Indwelling catheterization>the 7-days urinary of non-infected 106 malegroup the WBC count of average:3.79a/HP,standard deviation:2.04,range:0-8,median:4:95%bilateral confidence interval 3.40-4.19 a/HP(about 3-5 a/HP), The females's group average:4.03a/HP,standard deviation:1.96,range:0-7,median:4:95%bilateral confidence interval 3.29-4.76 a/HP (about3-5 a/HP), two independent samples t-test data to infer the overall sample mean of the two groups are equal, as were two-sided test level for the 0.05 test, the results showed t=-0.576, They had no significant difference between the two group (p>0.05).So it can be expressed as the correlation of urinary catheter 136 adult (106 adult+30 adult) WBC count of average:3.84a/HP,standard deviation:2.01,range:0-8,median:4:95%of the normal range:3.50-4.19 a/HP (about 3-5 a/HP). white blood cell count data of 136 cases with indwelling catheter of non-infected and 47 cases with indwelling catheter of urinary tract infection were two-sided test level for the 0.05 test, the results were showed t=-14.45, p< 0.05,the WBC count of uninary tract with positive urine culture was detected a obvious increase as compared to with negtive urine culture.two independent samples t-test data of variance missing to infer the overall sample mean of the two groups are not equal. white blood cell count of the patients with indwelling catheter 3,>7 days were analyzed of variance, the results were showed t= 11.5, p< 0.05.the WBC count of non-infected the patients after indwelling catheter>the 7-days was detected a obvious increase as compared to theWBC countof non-infected the patients after indwelling cathete the3-days。Conclusion:The WBC count of non-infected adult patients after indwelling catheter>the 7-days ranged from 3 to 5 per HP.For the patients indwelling catheter, the WBC count of urinary tract infection for the patients was detected a obvious increase as compared to non-infected the patients; the WBC count of non-infected the patients after indwelling catheter>the 7-days was detected a obvious increase as compared to the WBC count of non-infected the patients after indwelling cathete the 3-days.it was diagnosised urinary tract infection to white blood cell of indwelling catheter were greater 8. |
