Effect Of Wheat-grain Moxibustion On Postoperative Gastrointestinal Motility

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of wheat-grain moxibustion on postoperative gastrointestinal motility with "chang san zhen"Methods:60 cases patients after abdominal operation are semirandomly divided into 2 groups, each of them is 30 cases. Wheat-grain moxibustion group and electro-acupuncture group, acupuncture group and control group. Both of the groups were treated by routine nursing, fasting, fluid replacement therapy, gastrointestinal decompression, TDP. The first day after the operation biside received the normal treatment, wheat-grain moxibustion group using a small cone moxibustion on "Changsanzhen"; electro-acupuncture group using electro-acupuncture on "Zusanli". Register the time of the first time deflation and defecation, and recovery condition of bowel sound. summed up the wheat-grain moxibustion treatment advantage.Results:1. Effect of wheat-grain moxibustion on the first time of aerofluxus Both wheat-grain moxibustion groups and electro-acupuncture groups can accelerate the gastrointestinal motility rebuilding, have less time of aerofluxus and bowel sound. There is no distinctness at the treat times of both groups (P>0.05).The total effective rate was 100% in the wheat-grain moxibustion and 90% in the electro-acupuncture groups(p<0.05). But the bowel sounds have significant difference compare in the two groups (P>0.05)2. Therapeutical effect of wheat-grain moxibustion on postoperative symptomsThere is no distinctness at the body temperature of both groups (P>0.05) Among all the effective treatment group, powerfully in 12 cases,18 were effective. The control group, powerfully in 3 cases,26 were effective and 3 invalid (p<0.05),there were significant differences. But there is no statistically significant differences in the both of body temperatures (P>0.05).Conclusion:Both wheat-grain moxibustion on "Changsanzhen" and electro-acupuncture on "Zusanli", can accelerate the postoperative gastrointestinal motility Rebuilding, but there were differences between the two groups (P<0.05)...
