A Clinical Study Of Minimally Invasive Extraction Without Flap Reflection And Immediate Implant Placement

Objective:To observe the clinical results of minimally invasive extraction without flap reflection and immediate implant placement. To evaluate the advantage of this technique at the artificial tooth implantation.Methods:68 patients (100 single-tooth implants) were retrospectively reviewed, in the oral implant center of 1st affiliated hospital, medical school of Zhejiang University from March 2001 to March 2007. These patients were all underwent minimally invasive extraction without flap reflection and immediate implants with spiral marking placement. Final prostheses were restored after about 3 to 6 months. All the patients were given common anti-inflamation treatment. Clinical and radiological examination were conducted regularly. The follow-up time was from 24 months to 36 months after final restoration. We get all the information by referring to case data means; collecting clinical pictures and radiology documents; following up by telephone and so on.1. By referring to the case data means, we can get the message of patients age,gender.,oral hygiene condition, surrounding soft and sclerous tissues condition and so on.2. By collecting the operation pictures, we can get the information of operating procesure and technique highlights. 3. By following up by telephone and collecting clinical pictures and radiology documents, we can know that weather the patients satisfact or no, and get the message of achievement ratio and aesthetics result.Consequence:At the period of healing time,no implant failed. All the implants obtained satisfactory primary stability.The morning achievement ratio was 100%. In the following study,There were three patients(four implants) missing contaction. After the Implants were weight loading,four implants(four pationts) failed. Two failed as inflammation around implants, another one was fracture,one was cinch. So the achievement ratio of the period of following up was 92.0%.conclusion By electing indication strictly, chosing correct implant systems, using correct method of operation, importantly getting good compliance of the patients, we can obtain satisfactory clinical result with all the implants.
