Integrative Body-Mind Training is a series of scientific theory for body-mind training and practical application system, which is created by Dr Tang Yiyuan, who integrated traditional chinese and modern science and technology after many years research of brain science and body-mind modulation methods. The modulation method which is the aggregation of the traditional chinese and western medical science, brain science, nature science, and modern psychology, using the "body, mind, behavior, and environment interaction model "to train and coordinate the physical, mental, optimize the brain, to stage-style training, step by step effect of strengthening exercises.In this paper, there are 2 experiments, through them we did some research about how IBMT affect physiological changing when in normal and low-oxygen environment by heart rate variability, skin conductor, respiration, blood oxygen saturation and so on.The results are summarized as followed:(1) After 2 weeks IBMT training, both respiratory rate and skin conductance levels significantly decrease; After 4 weeks training, the IBMT group showed significantly better physiological reactions in abdomen respiratory amplitude and skin conductance than the relaxation control.(2) Based on the previous experiment, we investigated how the physiological indexes would be changed by IBMT under hypoxic environment. After one week training, the IBMT group showed significantly greater improvement of performance in heart rate, high frequency, low frequency, skin conductance, respiratory rate and amplitude. Under the low-oxygen environment, IBMT group significantly reduced heart rate, skin conductance, respiratory rate, and increased blood oxygen saturation compared to participants with the same amount of muscle relaxation training.This experimental results show that, the significant increase of high-frequency HRV in the IBMT group during training indicates successful inhibition of sympathetic tone and activation of parasympathetic tone in comparison with relaxation training. IBMT impact on the autonomic nervous system may balance body and mind. IBMT can improve trainer's automatically adjust ability after one week exercise. Under hypoxic environment, the IBMT group showed significantly better physiological reactions in lower heart rate, LF, skin conductance, increased HF, blood oxygen saturation, and decreased respiratory rate than the relaxation control. |
