The Efficacy Analysis Of Intravenous Immune Globulin Combining With Methylprednisolone In Treatment Of SJS/TEN

Objective:To evaluate the treatment of intravenous immune globulin combining with methylprednisolone in severe erythema multiforme drug eruption and toxic epidermal necrolysis.Method:give a retrospective analysis of the treatment of the sever drug eruption patients who were treated by immune globulin combining with methylprednisolone in Shandong Provincial Hospital during 2005.1～2010.4. there are 9 SJS,20 TEN,and 24 overlaps; besides, there are 18 male cases,24 female cases, the age of them ranges from 3 to 74 years old.The average age is 37.7±7.6 years old. Among them,40 cases had clear drug histories, the other 2 had no clear drug histories. They are treated by using immune globulin 0.25-0.4g/kg/d (3-7 days) combining with methylprednisolone 80～120 mg/d, while 1.5～2mg/kg/d prednisone for children. While strengthening support for treatment, prevention of secondary infection, intensive care and external treatment.Result:It has good clinical efficacy in the treatment of SJS/TEN by using IVIG combining with methylprednisolone. Temperature recovery time of patients is1～5(2±1.64)days, Mucocutaneous stop stripping time of patients is 2-7(4±2.73) days, The patients spent 7-42 (21.30±18.27) days in our hospita。Among the 42 cases, there were 38 cases totally recovered,2 case basically recovered,2 cases dead. Conclusion:It has a good curative effect using immune globulin combining with methylprednisolone in the treatment of severe erythema multiforme drug eruption.
