Objective:To investigate the protection of KANGFUXIN on the upper gastrointestinal injury caused by paraquat poisoning in rats, and to approach the mechanism of that, in order to provide according to clinical medication. Methods:A total of 120 adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups, control group (CG), model group (MG) and treatment group (TG),40 respectively. The MG and TG were given 20% paraquat 50mg/kg by oral administration, after 2h the TG was given KANGFUXIN solution 1.5ml by oral administration, tid. The CG was given normal saline. At 2,6,9,12,15days, to randomly select 8 rats every time in every group, hemocuprein (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were detected in serum. Then the rats were executed and tongue, esophagus and stomach were obtained, eosin-hematoxylin (HE) staining was adopted to observe the mucomembranous injury in the tissue. Results:At 2,6,9,12,15days, compared with MG, the results of HE stain demonstrated the mucomembranous injury in TG was obvious abatemen. The positive expression of SOD in MG was significantly lower than that in CG (P<0.05), and MDA in MG was significantly higher (P<0.05). Compared with MG, The positive expression of SOD in TG was significantly higher (P<0.05), and MDA was significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion:The results suggest that KANGFUXIN has therapeutical effect on the upper gastrointestinal injury caused by paraquat poisoning in rats in, which might through increasing the energy of antioxidase, eliminating free radicles and inhibiting lipid peroxidation. |
