Objective to investigate the relevance between the psychosomatic symptoms and the urine flow rate ,the relevance between the course and the psychosomatic symptoms and the relevance between the psychosomatic symptoms and the score of NIH-CPSI.Method: 61 cases of type III prostatitis in patients asked in detail about the history, clear the course and did maximum flow rate (Qmax) examination, in the norms guiding the NIH-CPSI score down, fill out self-rating anxiety scale (SAS score), self-rating depression scale (SDS score) for statistical analysis of the relevance between the psychosomatic symptoms and the urine flow rate ,the relevance between the course and the psychosomatic symptoms and the relevance between the psychosomatic symptoms and the score of NIH-CPSI.Result: The relevance between the course and the SAS score, SDS score was positively correlated; The relevance between NIH-CPSI score and the SAS score, SDS score was positively correlated; The relevance between SAS score (self-rating anxiety), SDS (self-rating depression) and Qmax (maximum flow rate) was negative correlated, and the result had a statistical significance. Conclusion:The relevance between the severity of symptoms (NIH-CPSI),the course of the type IIIprostatitis and the psychosomatic symptoms (SAS, SDS score) was positively correlated; The relevance between the psychosomatic symptoms (SAS, SDS score) and the maximum flow rate (Qmax) was negatively correlated.
