Expression Of VEGF-A And Correlation With The Sentinel Lymph Nodes Lymphangiogenesis And Metastasis In NSCLC

Objective: To investigate the expression of VEGF-A and the correlation with the sentinel lympha nodes lymphangiogenesis and metastasis in NSCLC..Methods: The expression of VEGF-A was detected in 65 patients with NSCLC by immunohistochemistry,LYVE-1 was detected by immunofluorescent, the new lymphatic vessel density was counted by LYVE-1 and analyed with clinicopathologic parameters.Result: The positive rate of VEGF-A was 72.3 %(47/65). The expression of VEGF-A was positively correlated with sentinel lympha nodes metastasis(r=0.453,P<0.01),clinical stage(r=0.442,P<0.01), new lymphatic vessel density(r=0.642,P<0.01),and it was negatively correlated with phathologic differentiation(r=-0.525,P<0.01) .Conclusion: Expression of VEGF-A was obviously interrelated with sentinel lympha nodes lymphangiogenesis and metastasis in NSCLC.it may be served as a useful target for patients'prognosis.
