However, the polysaccharide have no effect to the quantity of IFN-γ.[conclusion]The TLC and HPLC proof that the IIF is a kind of polysaccharide with major molecular weight. It is maybe a kind of glycopeptide.the study in vitro tests indicate that IIF can enhance the humoral immunity by the increase the quantity of cytokine of TH2. and IIF can enhance the activity of NK cell. These made IIF have the activity of immunoenhancement. In a word, IIF may is one of effective components that have the effects of heat-clearing and detoxicating in Isatis indigotica Fort.
