Objective: To get the message on the distribution of Sweat Glands and Hair Follicles on the Bodies of the Chinese Adults. Accumulate the Anthropology data of the Chinese Male Adults. And give the useful and scientific theory according about the choice of skin flap. Methods: Specimens were obtained with a circular metal punch from 30 body surface areas from 62 cadavers stored in formalin(without any kind of skin disease and scar). The samples were dipped in formalin, embedded in paraffin, sectioned as parallel with the skin surface from epiderm to derm, and then stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE staining). Get the numbers of sweat glands and hair follicles at the dermoepidermal junction. Results: The sweat glands were found in all of the analyzed 30 areas, and the hair follicles were not found on the palm, sole and dorsum of the distal phalanx. The palm area had the most density of sweat gland and the mammary area had the least. Significant dimorphism for the density of sweat gland was seen between hands and any other area, but no dimorphism was found between upper and lower limbs. The buccal area had the greatest density of hair follicle, while the sparest areas were palm, sole and dorsum of distal phalanx, and the hair follicle doesn't appear on the dorsum of hand. The order of the hair follicle density was head, limbs, trunk, hands and other areas. Generally speaking, no dimorphism for the hair follicle density was found among upper limbs, lower limbs and trunk. Compared with the densities of sweat glands and hairs reported by K. Huang, the densities of sweat glands and hairs of Chinese Male Adults is less than Korean, but the curves of Korean and Chinese males'density of sweat glands and hair follicles were similar. Therefore we speculate that the densities of hair follicles and sweat glands are similar between Chinese and Korean Male Adults.
