A Clinical Study On Decoction Of GuiPu In Patients Of Vaginal Hemorrhage After Medical Abortion

Objective:This paper is aimed to exploring the mechanism of the decoction of guipu through observing its efficacy in decreasing the vaginal hemorrhage after medicinal abortion,reducing the duration of the vaginal hemorrhageand,improving clinical symptoms etc.,in order to find out a method which is exactly effective,safe,convenient and cheap.Method:According to the adoption criterion,120 patients provided with medical abortion were chosed during the period from January,2008 to June,2008.They were randomized into three groups with 40 in each.Treatment group was given Decoction of GuiPu,control group treated by capsule of Du Yi Wei,and blank group nothing.The curative effect were manifested by the amount of vaginal bleeding,duration of vaginal hemorrhage and symptoms,Results:1.Comparison of the vaginal hemorrhagic durationThe vaginal hemorrhagic duration of treatment group was shorter than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and markedly shorter than that in the blank group(P＜0.01).2.Comparison of the hemostatic effectBy statistical analysis,the excellence rate of treatment group was significantly higher than that of control and blank group.The contrast is remarkable(P均＜0.01).The total effective rate of blank group was obviously less than that of the other groups(P＜0.01),while there was no significant differences between the treatment group and the control group(P＞0.05);the inefficiency rate of blank group was evidently higher than that of the other groups(P均＜0. 01).3.Comparison of the total score on vaginal hemorrhagic amountThe total scores on vaginal hemorrhagic amount of treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05),and more significantly lower in blank group(P＜0.01).4.Comparison of the improvement of symptomsPatients in the treatment group improved more in their symptoms than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Significant contrasts were observed between the treatment group and blank group.(p＜0.01).5.Alteration of three radial lines of uterine before and after treatment by type-B ultrasonic.The uterine three radial lines of treatment group before and after treatment was significantly different,and the contrast was remarkable(P＜0.01);the contrast of such sore as to control group was of significant difference(P＜0.05);while the blank group made no obvious difference(P＞0.05).However,the contrast of three group made obvious difference(P＜0.05).6.Comparison of menstruation recovery time of those given complete abortionThe menstruation recovery time of patients in the three groups made no significant difference(P＞0.05).7.Comparison of the first menstrual volume after menstrual flow recoveryIn the treatment group the number of patients whose menstrual volume were similar with the previous was larger than that in the other groups(P＜0.05);the contrast between control group and blank group made no significant difference(P＞0.05).This shows that the result of treatment group is on the account of less influence exerted,better than that of control group and blank group.Conclusion:It is showed that the application of Decoction of GuiPu in medicinal abortion can outstandingly decrease the vaginal hemorrhagic amount,as well as shorten the vaginal hemorrhagic duration.The method applied in the treatment group is superior to that used in control group and blank group in regard to accelerate the exportation of remaining,recover uterus,,improve the clinical symptoms and reduce the side-effect on menstrual flow.It is an effective treatment for Vaginal Hemorrhage after Medical Abortion.
