Objectives: To investigate the relation between serum Estradiol (E2) ,Testosterone (Te) level, Te/E2 ratio, blood lipids (include cholesterol and triglyceride), duration after transplant surgery, current arterial pressure and Cys C, serum creatine in adult male patients after renal transplantation. Thus to explore the association between sex hormone and renal allograft's function.Methods: 76 adult male patients after renal transplantation, tested the levels of serum Estradiol and Testosterone, calculated the ratio of Te/E2, determined the levels of blood cholesterol and triglyceride on empty stomachs, and the values of Cys C and serum creatine at the same time. Chose 23 male people who are healthy examinees or are patients that have no related disease in clinic service simultaneously as normal control. Chose 12 male patients who are diagnosed as uremia and have not received hemodialysis. Study objects were devided into two groups, one group took immunosuppressive agents Ciclosporin and CellCept and Prednisone, the other used Tacrolimus and CellCept and Prednisone (abbreviated as CsA group and FK506 group), 42 and 34 particitants differently. Assayed the association between serum Testosterone, Estradiol, Te/E2, blood cholesterol, triglyceride,average arterial pressure duration after transplant and Cys C, serum creatine.Results:1. The levels of average systolic pressure, serum triglyceride, Cys C and Scr are higher in CsA group than in FK506 group(P<0.05).2. The levels of average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol, triglyceride, Estradiol, Cys C and Scr are higher in CsA group and FK506 group than in normal control(P<0.05), but the level of Testosterone is lower(P<0.05).3. The levels of average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol, triglyceride, Cys C and Scr are lower in CsA group and FK506 group than in uremia control(P<0.05),but the level of Testosterone is higher (P<0.05).4. In CsA group, the duration after transplant surgery, average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol, serum Testosterone and Te/E2 positively associate with Cys C (P<0.05). Association between Te/E2 and Cys C are lower than between the duration after transplant surgery or serum cholesterol and Cys C, but higher than others.5. In FK506 group, the duration after transplant surgery,average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol, serum Testosterone and Te/E2 positively associate with Cys C(P<0.05). Association between Te/E2 and Cys C are lower than between the duration after transplant surgery,average systolic pressure or serum cholesterol and Cys C, but higher than others.6. In CsA group, the duration after transplant surgery, average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol and Te/E2 positively associate with Scr(P<0.05). In FK506 group, average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol and Te/E2 positively associate with Scr(P<0.05). But the association with Cys C are higher than with Scr.7. Chose Te/E2 and Cys C as two independent variables to make correlated lines, and compared the line of CsA group with FK506 group, we found that the slope rate of the two lines are different.Conclusions:1. The levels of blood pressure,blood lipids and Estradiol in male patients after renal transplantation are increased, the level of Testosterone is decreased. Contrast to the uremia stage, all the index have been obviously improved.2. Blood pressure, blood lipids and Estradiol in patients took CsA are worse than the patients took FK506. There wasn't significant difference between those two groups.3. Cys C of male patients after renal transplantation positively associate with Scr. In this study, association of the duration after transplant surgery, average systolic pressure, serum cholesterol, serum Testosterone and Te/E2 with Cys C are higher than with Scr.4. It proved that serum Estradiol and Testosterone concentration influnce renal function in men for the first time. Especially clarified that serum Te/E2 ratio positively associates with Cys C and Scr, and it is influenced by CsA or FK506.
