| Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Jianpi Qingre Huoxue formula in treating peptic ulcer diseases and initially to explore the mechanism of Jianpi Qingre Huoxue formula in improving the quality of ulcer healing from the theoretical and clinical aspects.Method: 60 cases of active peptic ulcer that confirmed by gastroscopy and which also must belong to PiXuWeiRe and blood stasis syndrome diagnosed by the differentiation of TCM syndromes, according to the sequence of treatment, is randomly divided into treatment group and control group for systematic observation. So there are 30 cases in both of the treatment group and control group. According to Jianpi Qingre Huoxue method, we prescribed a traditional Chinese medicine prescription(formed by Zhihuangqi 10g,Baizhu 10g,Huanglian 3g,Wuzhuyu lg,Danshen 15g)to the treatment group. Taking the decocted liquid of the herbs for two times in the morning and night, 1 agent a day. At the same time taking omeprazole capsules 20mg a day. The control group only take omeprazole capsules 20mg a day. Both groups continuously take medicine for 90 days for a course of treatment. Then we observe one course of treatment. Compared between the two groups, gastroscopic and clinical efficacy, as well as the symptoms improvement before and after treatment.Results The total rate of gastroscopic efficacy in the treatment group is 96.7%, 83.3% for the control group, but there is no significant difference in statistics (P> 0.05). But the cure rate in treatment group is 83.3%, significantly higher than 66.7% of the control group. The total effective rate of clinical efficacy in the treatment group is 90.0%, and 73.3% for the control group. This has statistically significant difference (P <0.05).The cure rate and obvious effective rate of the treatment group is 40% and 33.3% individually, significantly higher than 20% and 16.7% that of the control group. Symptoms of the treatment group such as stomachache, belching, epigastric upset, irregularity of the stool, improved significantly (P <0.01), and markedly better that of the control group (P <0.05) before and after treatment.Conclusion Through this research, it shows that the Jianpi Qingre Huoxue formula not only has better efficacy on gastroscopic ,promoting ulcer healing, improving the quality of ulcer healing, but also has obvious efficacy on improving the clinical symptoms and efficacy. It's an effective formula on anti-peptic ulcer recurrence, which has precise effect, security but no adverse reaction. It is worth researching and promoting. At the same time, it indicates that treating peptic ulcer by means of Chinese and western medicine not only can speed up ulcer healing time, rapidly reduce the symptoms, but also can reduce the ulcer recurrence rate and prolong relapse duration. And it is a better way in treating peptic ulcer than using Western medicine alone. |
