Objective: To study the relationship between phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus and inflammation index, blood sugar, blood lipids , analyze the characteristic of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitusMethods: We selected 140 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients as research objects .Of the 140 cases, 42 were phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome, 98 cases were non-phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome. The patients were examined the targets as below: the blood sugar(FBG, PBG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc),the blood lipids (TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C),the body mass index(BMI), waistline, blood pressure(SBP,DBP),carotid artery inner membrane thickness (IMT),high sensitivity c-reactive protein(hs-CRP), Fractalkine.Results :1.Compares with non-phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome, the BMI of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were significantly higher(27.46±1.74vs22.6±1.64,P<0.01); the waistline were significantly higher (90.62±8.06vs81.22±7.11,P<0.01); the level of TG of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were significantly higher(1.75±1.08vsl.39±0.87,P<0.05); the level of LDL-C of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were significantly higher (3.05±0.55vs2.79±0.66,P<0.05); the SBP of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were significantly higher (133.45±15.69vs 127.91±12.73,P<0.05);the level of HDL-C of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group was lower(1.18±0.23vs1.32±0.34,P<0.01). Compares with non-phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome, the carotid artery IMT of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were higher.2. Compares with non-phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome, the hs-CRP of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were significantly higher(1.27vs0.67, P<0.01) .3. The hs-CRP was closely positive correlated to TG (r=0.2900, P=0.0006), The hs-CRP was closely positive correlated to BMI(r=0.3286, P<0.0001) and negative correlated to HDL-C(r=-0.2032, P=0.0177); The IMT was closely positive correlated to SBP(r=0.3499, P<0.0001).Conclusions: 1. The higher BMI,TG,LDL-C,SBP and the lower HDL-C may be as the parts of pathology essence in hygrosis syndrome. 2. the hs-CRP of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome group were significantly higher than non-phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome, It implies that chronic inflammation status of T2DM is possiblely pathology essence of phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome. Phlegmatic hygrosis syndrome may be easilier development vascular complication in T2DM. |
