| Objective To detect the impact to the type and degree of water and salt metabolism disturbance and disorders of glucose resulted by micro-neurosurgery of different origination of craniopharygioma and the preservation of pituitary stalk and then discuss the determinants of this situation.Method we conduct a retro-perspective research that is the analysis of the data of water, salt and glucose metabolism and preservation of pituitary stalk of 43 post-operative patients of craniopharygioma, which is disposed by SPSS 13.0 for statistics.Result 40 of the patients received total resection while the total resection rate is 93.02%.Among these patients, with the pituitary stalk reservation rate at 53.48%,9 received total reservation of pituitary stalk, while 14 received partial reservation of pituitary stalk. There is no tumor recurrence and dead case, while all the patients' general condition and life sign is stable. The diabetes insipidus and water and salt metabolic disturbance are easy to amend. Conclusion The type and degree of water and salt metabolic disturbance and glucose disorders of post-operative patient of craniopharygioma is no significance with the different location of tumors. The determinants of the type and degree of water and salt metabolic disturbance and glucose disorders of post-operative patient of craniopharygioma is the nicety of micro-neurosurgery and the preservation of periphery anatomy structure, especially the pituitary stalk. |
