Clinical Studies On Interventional Therapy In Treating Early Stage Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the interventional radiology in treating early stage Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease,confirmed that interventional therapy in the treatment of early stage Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease was a scientific process.Methods: we collected the patients under 14 who were diagnosed to be avascular necrosis of the femoral head and treated in the traditional Chinese medicine hospital of Zhangzhou Fujian provence from 2005 to 2008. We divided them into two groups randomly with the random number table:the interventional therapy group cooperated with skin traction,the conservative treatment group cooperated with skin traction according to the following up order and the treated method. we compared the curative effect of every groups on pain,function,activity of joint and X-ray stages by more point of view and more levels to conclude the difference among various methods.Results: By 1-2 years'following up,the success rate of therapy group,the control group was 92.35%, 80.95% respectively. By T test and Ridit test, we can see that there were notable difference between therapy group and control group in curative effect(p<0.05). the X-ray representation of the therapy group and the control group is improved(p<0.01); The prognosi under 7 years old is better than that above 7 years old; the prognosi was better when the course was no more than 3 months,while it was worse when the course was more than 3months; Sex has no effect on clinical curative effect.Conclusion: 1. Interventional therapy has provided an improving effect for the blood supply of the femoral head, for the avascular necrosis of vascular thrombosis provide good blood supply environment.2. There are close relatio between the prognosi of Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease and aging,the course. While sex has no effect on clinical curative effect.3. Interventional therapy can enhence the curative effect ,improve the pain,function, activity of joint and X-ray representation evidently, It's an effective way to cure avascular necrosis of the femoral head of children.
