Case Researchs On Visual-Music Therapy (VMT) To Special Children In Language Rhythm Disorder

Visual music therapy is a new method of music therapy, which on the basis of traditional music therapy, combine modern technology, use the visual system and the auditory system to intergrate sound, melody, rhythm, color and shape of changes. In the multi-sensory stimulation, play psychological effects like wake-up,inspiriton, soothe, venting etc, accessig the effect that drugs can not reach.In this study, on the basis of the advantages of traditional music therapy, combine modern audio-visual technology, built a visual music therapy strategy for special children in language rhythm disorders.Combine the practical training of language rhythm disorders by music therapy in current special schools, trying to explore a new music therapy strategy which can combine musical elements and music activities organically.Through case researches to validate the effectiveness of the strategy furtherly, which can help me make some significant recommendations to treatments of language rhythm disorders.This study is divided into three parts. The first part is study summary. We discuss the commonly used intervention means of language rhythm disorders, traditional music therapy on language rhythm disorders as well as it's weaknesses. On this basis, we show the focus of this study, that is, building a visual music therapy strategy that combine the advantages of traditional music therapy.The second part is the main study. On the basis of analyzing the evaluation and the parameters, we make a four-phase strategy for visual music therapy. We choose four cases in different levels including hearing-impaired children and mentally handicapped children with typical language rhythm disorder. From standard deviation of fundamental frequency , intensity standard deviation and MPT to study the effectiveness and appropriateness of the strategy . Research shows that they get an extremely significant progress on pitch, loudness, length of sentences after visual music therapy.The last part is research conclusions and recommendations. Through the results of case studies we have reached the following conclusions: the guidance significance, interesting and practicality of visual music therapy strategy; the principle we should followed. Finally, through summing the shortcomings from the study, put forward related advice and outlook.
