Objectives:To provide the anatomical basis of transplantation of volaris pedicled part capitate bone to replace carpal bone with necrosis, the study observed the blood supply and the distribution character of nutrient arteries of capitatum.Methods:100 capitates were observed. They were divided intotwo parts:distal end and proximal end, recording the quantity and position of volaris and dorsal nutrient artery and measure the caliber of the nutrient artery. Finally, analyze the data in statistics. Two epipodite proplasm specimens with bone and periphery vascular retention were manufactured, recording the caliber, quantity and position of mainly nutrient artery of capitate bone. Two epipodite proplasm specimens with arterial injections of red and blue natural latox were manufactured, observe the caliber, quantity and position of the dorsal nutriant artery. To observe capitate interior blood vessel walks, the study analyze carpal bone nutrient artery of capitate bone and five examples of coronal plane section.Result:100 capitate specimens contain volaris nutrient artery siphonopore average are 6.21 and the dorsal side average are 6.62 which is a little more than the former. However the caliber size of the volaris vascular is bigger than the dorsal side and has significant difference(u=7.53;p<0.01).Both far and near parts of capitate have richly nutrient artery siphonopore. The capitate vascular siphonopore of part cast form conformed to the cast form in distribution and quantitiy. Conclusion:The capitate bone has rich blood supply, and the caliber size of the volaris vascular is bigger than the dorsal side. After divided into far and near two parts, both of capitate bone have richly nutrient artery siphonopore. It is anatomically proved that compared to dorsal pedicled near part capitate bone to replace semilunar bone with necrosis the volaris pedicled near part capitate is more feasible. It is a new surgery mode for lunate necrosis.
