Cardiac reserve is the possibility of the up-regulating of cardiac function, which reflects how much the cardiac potential is. Cardiac reserve capacity can reflect whether the body is able to safely tolerate various stress cases. Noninvasive detection methods of cardiac reserve based on the relationship between heart sounds and cardiac reserve was setting up a new evaluation indicator of cardiac status which is population-based and using the relative value method. Including the ratio of the first heart sound's amplitude to the second heart sound's(S1/S2), and the ratio of diastolic duration to the systolic duration(D/S).Large sample investigation in new indicators of cardiac status data will produce a large amount of data, managing data has become a urgent problem. This paper introduced a new indicators cardiac reserve evaluation system with simple operation. SQL Server has been adopted as background database. Visual C++6.0 and ADO (Active Data Objects) interface technology are used to develop the evaluation system. This system can be used for collecting heart sounds and managing related data. In order to do the statistics and analysis of the specific data in specific areas expediently, this paper designed a special software for statistics and analysis on new indicators of cardiac reserve data. A study of special software on the medical statistics was carried out as a preliminary attempt. The software can implement the function of de-noising phonocardiogram signal, manual analyzing heart sounds and analyzing the statistics of new indicators. It has a relatively leading position in the field of studying population cardiac status, and it provides a certain reference for related fieldsIn order to better evaluate the population heart status, and explore new indicators of evaluation cardiac status and changes of cardiac reserve. Author designed a test program on population-based cardiac status. Data from 1340 volunteers are selected in this experiment. Heart rate, S1/S2 and D/S of general population aged 6-85 and women aged 21-28 including pregnant and non-pregnant were analyzed separately. The results show that before the age of 10, general men and women have a higher heart rate, about 80 beats/min or more, while adults'average heart rate is 60-100 beats/min, the statistical results coincide with the physiology textbooks. With the age increasing, the average of D/S is greater than 1.5, the average of S1/S2 less than 3.8 in the general population aged 6-85. HR and S1/S2 of pregnant women are higher than that of non-pregnant women; the D/S of pregnant women is reduced as compared with the non-pregnant. There are statistical significant differences in the control test(P<0.001).The experimentation study show that the noninvasive detection methods of cardiac reserve based on the relationship between heart sounds and cardiac reserve can effectively evaluate the population-based cardiac status. The cardiac function of the special populations, pregnant women, who were in stress status, are up-regulates and the cardiac burden is increased because of pregnancy stress. The study on these new indicators for evaluating the safety of the heart will be beneficial of women's cardiac health during pregnancy. Doctors and patients can know well the effects of various diseases and stress to the heart's status. It provides the basis for more careful heart health care.
