Osteoporotic fractures are a direct consequence of one of hip fracture in osteoporotic fracture are the common types, and its morbidity, mortality and high disability, society and the family give a heavy burden on economic and livelihood , a result of fractures in elderly patients often suffer from systemic disease, so patients with fracture healing slowly, and many complications, a serious threat to the elderly health.Hip fracture risk factors has a lot of aspects, some are beyond their control, while some can be controlled, controllable factors such as calcium intake, Vitamin D intake, protein intake, smoking, drinking, drinking coffee, such as physical exercise.Abroad to study more of these risk factors are more comprehensive, and domestic hip fracture risk factors of the study less, the study of risk factors is not comprehensive enough. Thus, hip fracture risk factors for epidemiological investigation of risk factors for hip fracture in the correct assessment and timely intervention to take corresponding measures of prevention and treatment of hip fracture is important. The topics are divided into two phases, the first is the January 1, 2008 to April 30, 2008. A case-control study, the investigators conducted the first training,At Xi'an area selected for more than 10 secondary-level hospital, in hospital patients with hip fracture in 300 randomly selected patients over 50 years of age, hip fracture diagnostic criteria for X-ray examination,Each patient fill out the "hip fracture and their risk factors for epidemiological questionnaire", and each should be adjusted in situ measurements are height, weight, myopia, and two-hand gripping ability. To sex, age as an index of patients hospitalized at neighbors, or live in communities close to the crowd of 300 people randomly selected as control groups to fill the corresponding questionnaire, and in situ measurements of height, weight, myopia, and two-hand gripping ability. The second stage is May 1, 2008 to July 1, 2008 by experts of quality control and recovery of a unified table, check the data, the data input excel 2003 spreadsheet English,By the Fourth Military Medical University, Department of Health Statistics to conduct statistical analysis of data on the impact of factors fractures using logistic regression analysis drawn up from an analysis of hip fracture risk factors. The results of a study population situation: The total collected in January 1, 2008 to April 2008 to 30 in Xi'an hospitalized hip fracture patients with 300 cases, of which 135 cases of male, female 165 cases, women slightly more in men, male and female sex ratio is 0. 81:1. 50-60 years old 69 cases of 60-70-year-old 72 cases, 159 cases of more than 70 years of age.Second, hip fracture happened: one of 194 cases of femoral neck fractures, intertrochanteric fracture 99 cases, 7 cases of mixed type. The right side of 162 cases, 137 cases of the left side, bilateral Example 1. According to labor intensity classification: 51 cases often sitting, light manual 124 cases, 93 cases of manual labor, 32 cases of heavy manual labor. The causes of hip fracture analysis: 267 cases of their own fall, 15 cases of minor external collision, seven cases of severe external collision, four cases of car accidents, other 7 cases, which constitute more than 89%, 5%, 2.35%, 1.3% , 2.35%.Three: the impact of hip fracture factors: the impact of hip fracture factors logistic regression analysis, there is a family history of fracture and fracture history of previous cases of group control group, significant differences exist (P <0.01).Found often drink milk, often regularly eat soy products, outdoor actiies every day time and hip fracture was a negative correlation, the regular drinking, regular smoking, regular use of glucocorticoids, low back pain, and was diagnosed with osteoporosis and hip fracture is related to have statistically significant differences,The case group and control group left and right hand grip and the left and right eye respectively myopia matching t test, left grip strength P <0.002, right hand grip strength P <0.0005, left eye myopia force P <0.0001, right eye myopia force P <0.0001 byɑ= 0.05 level, there is statistical significance, case group and control group and short-sighted power grip significant differences exist, you can consider the patient group and short-sighted power grip strength were lower than the control group.Correlation analysis showed that hip fractures happen to fall are the primary cause of sprains, fractures have past history, there is a relative fracture history, smoking, drinking, taking glucocorticoids, suffering from osteoporosis and hip fracture incidence was positively correlated (P <0.01), while the strength, vision, often drink milk, eat soy products regularly, regular exercise and the occurrence of hip fracture was a negative correlation (P <0. 01).Conclusion: The fall sprains, there is previous history of fracture, family history of fracture there is suffering from osteoporosis, muscle strength, vision, drink milk, eating soy products, exercise, smoking, drinking, taking glucocorticoid hip with the Xi'an area the occurrence of fractures and has obvious relevance.
