Vertebral compression fractures is the most common complication of the osteoporosis, results in high morbidit of refractory pain in many patients.Percutaneous kyphoplasty is routinely used to treat vertebral body compression fractures (VCFs) resulting from osteoporosis or vertebral body tumors in order to provide rapid pain relief. it remains results in superior outcomes versus medical management alone in patients experiencing VCFs。Rates of complication for short term is mainly about the the extravasation of cement into adjacent structures,it can be not only increase the pain but also compress Spinal cord or nerve root by cement。Choose the appropriate patients and precise operation will avoid the situation, but the rates of complication for long term has not clarified clearly. We need more following interviews to know about the effect.
