Infant cerebral injury refers to the non-ingravescent sydrome of brain injury before or during the delivery, after birth, and in early childhood,by different factors. There are four types of symptoms,i.e.,cerebral palsy, mental retardation, epilepsy, abnormal behavior. It is the risk factor that threatens the pre-school children's health and their normal life in that a lot of brain injury in children will be left behind serious multiple disabilities if timely treatment and education is not given to the sufferers. In China, due to the lack of medical common sense, people can not effectively prevent and detect brain injury, which fuel the difficulty to the prevention and treatment of the disease. The purpose of this study is to investigate the incidence of brain injury and risk factors in infants.Three methods are employed in the paper:literature review and subject interviewing and case study.Based on the theories of sociology, psychology, pedagogy, the paper focuses on the prevention of brain injury and the strategies of the education to brain damage children. The aim is to enhance the awareness of infant brain injury, thereby reducing the incidence of brain injury and helping the brain injury children develop normally. The results of the study are shown as follows:Firstly, the genetic background, the health condition of pregnant women, abnormal foetus and attachment, asphyxia at birth, premature birth, excess amount of bile and craniocerebral trauma are the direct factors. While the lack of awareness, inadequate care make up the indirect factors to brain damage.Secondly, the efficient way to prevent and reduce the occurrence of brain injury is to establish and improve the laws and regulations,to strengthen the education,to publicize the disease, and to monitor the high-risk groups. Finally, the children with cerebral palsy belong to the special-need group and so their education plan should be made respectively based mainly on the types and degrees of disabilities, and an integrated education strategy and medical rehabilitation should be employed to this group of children. |
