Clinical Retrospective Analysis Of Pseudohermaphroditism: Case Report Of 17 Patients

OBJECTIVE: Discussion pseudohermaphroditism (including female pseudohe-rmaphroditism and male pseudohermaphroditism) the etiology,clinical features, diagnosis and treatment measures.METHODS: Collected from January 2003 to January 2008 in Guangxi Medical University First Affiliated Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology total of 17 cases of pseudohermaphroditism patients with clinical information,analyse its clinical manifestations,examination findings,diagnosis,treatment,,and review the literature of the pseudohermaphroditism,discuss the clinical characteristics diagnosis and treatment of pseudohermaphroditism.RESULT: The diagnosis with Pseudohermaphroditism of 17 cases, age 18-31 years old, male pseudohermaphroditism were eight cases and female pseudohermaphroditism 9.Clinical symptoms,including breast dysplasia, primary amenorrhea, bad development of secondary sexual characteristics, genital hermaphroditism, vaginal stenosis or blind side;male pseudohermaphrod- itism with gonadal dysplasia ectopic and female pseudohermaphroditism with uterine dysplasia and so on. There is a wide range change of laboratory tests, including normal or high with testosterone, FSH and LH.In addition,female pseudohermaphroditism with high levels of ACTH and cortisol, 24h urinary 17-OH and 17-KS etc.B ultrasonic examination of adrenal hyperplasia in 4 cases. 8 cases of male pseudohermaphroditism with ectopic gland. 17 cases have analysis karyo-type to determine genetic sex.Male pseudohermaphroditism have given ectopic gland resection and genital plastic surgery,or vaginoplasty;Female pseudohermaphroditism have give genital plastic surgery and (or) vaginal dilatation.16 cases who maintaining female social gender have been given hormone (diethylstilbestrol,Premarin,medroxyprogesterone atc) replacement therapy;1 case of male Pseudohermaphroditism maintain male gender have been givendeformity of thepenis song orthopedic surgery and urinary tract malformations angioplasty, after accepted androgen treatment.Conclusions: Early diagnosis and treatment of Pseudohermaphroditism patients has important significance. Patients with male pseudohermaphroditism resection after diagnosis of early ectopic gonad to prevent malignant transformation of ectopic gonad, adolescent society based on sexual orientation in patients given the right amount of hormone replacement therapy,after puberty line in accordance with the degree of genital genital malformation orthopedic surgery.Female pseudohermaphroditismearly diagnosis for patients with glucocorticoid replacement therapy,early trip genital plastic surgery to repair in order to alleviate the psychological burden on patients.
