| Objective:to evaluate the use of CompuKT in the diagnosis of Benign Joint hypermobility Syndrome.Methods:Fifty-nine males and thirty-seven females involved in the current study were divided in two groups(Group 1, normal; Group 2, Benign Joint hypermobility Syndrom) according to Beighton Score. Anterior-posterior tibiofemoral translation was quantified using the CompuKT knee arthrometer with 30 lbs anterior pull-force and 20 lbs posterior pression-force at 30°respectively. Data were analysis statistically. Results: seventeen were in group 2, including six males(10.16% of the whole males) and eleven females(29.7% of the whole females). BJHS mass in terms of gender there is significant differences (P<0.05).There were significant difference of anterior-posterior tibiofemoral translation between the Group 1 and Group 2(8.5500±1.14746mm and 10.0118+1.26880mm, respectively). Conclusions: There was significant difference of gender in Benign Joint hypermobility Syndroms. CompuKT were useful on diagnosis of Benign Joint hypermobility Syndroms... |
