Analysis For Psychological Counseling Requirement And Its Correlation Factors In Nursing Staffs Of Three Level Of First-class Hospital

Objective:The general regularity of hindrance on psychological counseling requirement was explored through surveying a current state of such subjective requirement in nursing staffs.The intrinsic influential factors of psychological counseling requirement were further analyzed on basis of isotropy investigation,and finally to provide a reference for nursing supervisors or specialists who majored in psychological consult so that they could effectively offer professional assistance for nursing staffs with psycho-matters during practice.Methods:(1) A questionnaire was made based on literature,consultation to specialists and pre-survey.(2) A cluster sampling study,of which the sample was included from three third-grade class A general hospitals' nurses in Fujian province according to inclusion and exclusion criteria designed previously,was conducted by way of questionnaire.The following items were analyzed:baseline characteristics of nurses included and their current states of psychological counseling requirement; scores of Self-rating Anxious and Depressive Scale(SAS/ SDA ),Fatigue Scale-14(FS-14),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES) and Coping Style Questionnaire(CSQ).A correlation of demography characteristic(gender,age, academic career,professional title) and psychological counseling requirement was analyzed using logistic-regression method.Differences in the states of psychological counseling requirement were compared among those nurses with different degrees of anxious,depressive and fatigue.The difference in the state of psychological counseling requirement was also compared among those nurses with different scores of General Self-Efficacy Scale based on analysis for the relationship between self-efficacy strength and the degree of psychological counseling requirement.(3) After screening those nurses with psycho-problems who refused psychological consult according to questionnaire,a depth-discussion procedure was performed for then.The influential factors of psychological counseling requirement were further analyzed using a method of Lo Biondo- Wood,s phenomenology.Results:(1) A scientific and pragmatic examination questionnaire about psychological consul requirement in nursing staffs was made successfully.(2) Quantitative analysis:a total of 2067 examination questionnaires were distributed,in which 1916 available examination questionnaires were finally retrieved.The available retrieve rate is 92.7%.The results showed that the nursing staffs are apt to select female,elder and dependable psychological consult specialist.37.7%nurse had subjective requirement of psychological consult,which was significantly influenced by night shift,marriage and children state.There were positive correlation between scores of Self-rating Anxious and Depressive Scale with the degree of requirement(P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between Self-rating Anxious and the degree of psychological counseling requirement in nursing staffs(P<0.05).Those nurses with coping style of immaturity have significantly different psychological counseling requirement to contrast with mixed type(P<0.05);(3) according to some internalize and evacuate standard,there were 7 nursing staffs,then talk with them step by step.we found out the reason for the nursing staffs refusing psychological counseling wereâ‘ having error cognition and attitude with the psycho-problem andself-problem,â‘¡having error cognition and attitude with the psychological counseling,â‘¢defending one's secrets,â‘£worrying about the professional competence of psychological counseling.conclusion:Psychological counseling requirement in nursing staffs was reasonable,and had demography axiom,so the people of nursing supervision and nursing regulator could accord to this demography axiom in order to provide available assistance for the nursing staffs.At the same time,on the basis of the requirement degree population distribution and dependablity analyses with physically and mentally index,we can infer the degree of requirement is reasonable, But there was a few of nurses with serious psychical problem reject psychological counseling because of the error cognition and attitude.So this kind of people should to pay close attention to for professional psychological consult person.
