Objective To evaluate the value of pulmonary arterial pressure in patients with left to right shunt congenital heart disease by using spectra doppler measure pressure of tricuspid regurgitation, pulmonary regurgitation. Methods Ninety patients with congenital heart disease, who all treated by transcatheter closure, were used to evaluate the correlation of pulmonary arterial pressure detected by using spectra doppler and right heart catheterization respectively.Result(1)Pulmonary arterial systolic pressure valued by spectra doppler were accurately and strongly correlated with pressure measured by right heart catheterization(r=0.893,P<0.05);(2)Pulmonary Arterial Mean Pressure valued by spectra doppler were accurately and strongly correlated with pressure measured by right heart catheterization(r=0.912,P<0.05);(3)The numerical data measured by spectra doppler overestimated the data measured by right heart catheterization. Conclusion Pressure detected by spectra doppler was a little overestimated, but it had a high associativity with right heart catheterization measured in the study,it could be made use of clinic generally.
