objective:To investigate the differences in plasma NT-proBNP levels in patients with acute ST-segment elevated myocardial infarction undergoing different reperfusion therapies in the early stages, and to analyze the correlation between NT-proBNP levels and prognosis.Method:113 patients with acute ST-segment elevated myocardial infarction were divided into 2 groups(PIC group and intravenous thrombolysis group). The patients' plasma NT-proBNP levels and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) at different time points were measured by fluorescence immunoassay and color Doppler echocardiography respectively. The differences in NT-proBNP levels between the 2 groups,as well as the correlation between NT-proBNP levels and prognosis were analyzed. Results:there was no significant differences in NT-proBNP levels between PIC group and intravenous thrombolysis group at the onset of AMI(P>0.05).However,the plasma NT-proBNP levels in PIC group were significantly lower than intravenous thrombolysis group after treatment (P<0.05);NT-proBNP levels gradually decreased with the steady improvement in cardiac function and independently correlated with major cardiovascular events(MACE) rate of incidence(P<0.01).Conclusions:As compared with intravenous thrombolytic therapy,PCI therapy in early stages can significantly reduce plasma NT-proBNP levels in patients with acute ST-segment elevated myocardial infarction, revealing a positive correlation with the prognosis of cardiac function.
