Study On The Manipulations Of Treatment In Cervical Vertigo

Objectives1.To analysis on the characteristic of imaging and hemodynamics changes in adolescent and Middle-old age,by observing imaging and hemodynamics changes.2.To explore the effect of different manipulations on hemodynamics of vertebrobasilar artery(VBA) and imageology in adolescent and Middle-old aged cervical vertigo,and observe the difference of clinical therapeutic effect between two manipulations,at the same time,to explore the mechanism of action of manipulations,and offer suitable manipulation to different patients according to different maging and hemodynamics changes.Methods1.seventy-six juve patients and sixty-four middle-old aged patients diagnosed as cervical vertigo came from nanfang hospital,observe the changes of X-ray and hemodynamics of vertebrobasilar artery in cervical part.seventy-six juve patients were randomly divided into rotatory reduction manipulation group(group A,38cases) and acupoint massage group(group B,38 cases),sixty-four middle-old aged patients were divided into acupoint massage group(32 cases) and rotatory reduction manipulation and draft group(32cases),every groups were given manipulative therapy correspondly.The changes of velocity of VBA and imaging in cervical part before and after treatment were observed using transcranial Doppler(TCD) and X-ray,and therapeutic effects were observed following up six months also.2.Statistical methods Using the software of SPSS 13.0,Compared with two means on t test of independent sampler.Compared with treatment before and after on paired-samples T test,compared with ranked data on independent samplers test 2 InConfidence interval was 95%,P＜0.05 had significant difference.Results1.The characteristic of imaging changes in adolescent the changes of cervical spine physio-curve of patients are diminished,but in Middle-old aged patients,the changes of X-ray are intervertebral disk hernia,Hypertrophy of Cervical Luschka's Joints,cervical degeneration and so on.2.The major characteristic of hemodynamics changes in adolescent is high velocity,but in Middle-old aged patients is low velocity.3.Three weeks after treatment,the mean velocity in basilar artery(BA),left vertebral artery(LVA) and right vertebral artery(RVA) in adolescent(group A and B) were significantly decreased as compared with those before treatment (P＜0.01),but there was no significant difference in the changes of mean velocity in LVA,RVA and BA between two groups(P＞0.05).At the same time,the cervical spine physio-curve were significantly increased as compared with those before treatment(P＜0.01),there was no significant difference in the changes of cervical spine physio-curve between two groups(P＞0.05),The therapeutic effects of group B was suprior to that of group A(P＜0.05).4.In the Middle-old aged patients,Three weeks after treatment,the mean velocity in basilar artery(BA),left vertebral artery(LVA) and right vertebral artery(RVA) were significantly increased as compared with those before treatment in two groups(P＜0.01),but there was significant difference in the changes of mean velocity in LVA,RVA and BA between two groups(P＞0.01),The therapeutic effects of rotatory reduction manipulation and draft group was suprior to that of acupoint massage group(P＜0.05).Conclusion1.There are different pathological changes in adolescent patients and Middle-old aged patients,including imageology and hemodynamics.2.In the treatment of adolescent patients,acupoint massage and rotatory reduction manipulation could make the the mean velocity decrease in vertebrobasilar artery, at the same time,two manipulations conld change the cervical spine physio-curve of patients,the therapeutic effect of acupoint massage might be better than that of rotatory reduction manipulation in treating adolescent cervical vertigo.3.In the treatment of the Middle-old aged patients,the rotatory reduction manipulation and draft could better than acupoint massage in increasing the mean velocity of vertebrobasilar artery,the therapeutic effect of rotatory reduction manipulation and draft might be better than that of acupoint massage in treating Middle-old aged cervical vertigo.4.Manipulations had the function of bilateral accommodation in the hemodynamics of VBA..
