The Effecyt Of Human Cytomegaiovirus On Anemia Of Infant

Objective To investigate the suppression effect of cytomegalovirus(CMV) on erythriod hematopoietic system.Methods 130 cases viral pneumonia infant were collected,all patients were checked five serum virus(RSV,IFV,ADV,PIV,CMV)specific antibodies and mycoplasma antibodies inspection and CRP＜8mg/L,according to CMV test results,130 were divided into CMV infections group and the control group suffered non-cmv infections.The 30 cases from the group of CMV infection detected CMV screening in the newborn were divided into congenital cytomegalovirus infection group and acquired cytomegalovirus infection group,the part of anemia children infected by CMV were treated by ganciclovir and another as control group.Results(1) There were marked decreases and high incidence of anemia in infant with CMV infection group comparing with the group of infant suffered from non-CMV infection group(P＜0.01).(2)The incidence and degree of anemia in congenital cytomegalovirus infection group was significantly higher than that in the acquired cytomegalovirus infection group(P＜0.05).(3)The CMV DNA had no correlation to Hb in the CMV infection group,r=-0.322,P＞0.05.(4)when the pneumonia patients were cured,we found that CMV infection group was 15 cases of children with anemia and the non CMV infection were normal after following -up 2 months.the mild anemia CMV infection group return to normal level around about two weeks and moderate anemia need about 1-2 months and severe anemia need 3-6 months,but the non CMV infection in children with anemia need 2 weeks or 2 months to return normally.the two groups was analysised by chi-square test,P＜0.01.there was significant difference between the two groups.The anemia of children suffered from CMV infections recovered slowly.(5)There was significant effect in the improvent of anemia and the decline in plant virus after the cases suffered from CMV infection treated by gancicloir.(6) The hemoglobin average numerial in the ganciclovir treatment group higher than the non-ganciclovir treatment group,the anemia casescontinumed to significantly reduce,P＜0.01.Conclusion When erythriod hematopoietic system is involved,The anemia related to CMV infection might be occurred.congenital CMV infection led to the high incidence and degree of anemia.the anemia last for a long time.ganciclovir treatment can significantly shorten the course of anemia and reduce viral load.
