In order to investigate natural products with unique structural features and biological activities, especially to find the anti-tumor active components, the soft coral Sinularia sp. were collected from Sanya city, Hainan island, South china sea. A study for systematic chemical composition and vitro bioactivities was undergoing .Repeatedly column chromatography was performed for the biassy-guided isolation and purification of their MeOH extracts. A detailed separation and purification by using thin-layer chromatography (TLC), preparative thin layer chromatography (PTLC), Si gel column chromatography (CC), gel (Sephadex LH-20) column chromatography, reverse phase column chromatography (ODS) and high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) resulted in the isolation of 18 compounds, 14 of them were cembranoids.Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis including 1D(1H-NMR,13C-NMR,DEPT),2DNMR(1H-1H COSY,HMBC,HMQC),ESIMS. 18 compounds were evaluated as lobophytolide E1, E2和E3, denticulatolide E4, lobolide E5, lobocrassolide E6, lobohedleolide E7, (7Z) -lobohedleolide E8, 2-epi-11Z-lobohedleolide E9, deacetyldeepoxy lobolide E10, sarcophineE11, 3-acetoxyisolobophytolide E12, Crassocolide D E13, Cyclotetradeca E14, Bis (2-methylpropyl)ester E15, 3-beta-hydroxyl-cholest-5-enE16, ergosta-5-en-3β-ol E17 and 5α, 8α-epidioxy - ergosta- 6, 22- dien-3β-ol E18.Further 3 tumor lines(P388 marine lymphocytic leukemia cell, A549 human lung cancer cell, Bel-7402 human hepatoma cancer cell) were selected to screen test the vitro anti-tumor cell bioactivities of the extracts and compounds...
